what is your cookie cost?
Cookie prices vary based on size and complexity. Cookies are priced individually, so as to allow a variety of sizes and shapes in each order. In general, a 3-4" sized cookie starts at $3.50 each, mini cookies (1.5-2") start at $1 each. Prices may increase depending on the amount of detail involved. These prices include packaging in a sealed plastic container. Individual (gift) packaging options are available at an additional cost per cookie.
DO YOU HAVE A STORE?
My Oven Mitt operates as a home-based business under the Texas Cottage Food Law, located in North Dallas, near the Galleria Mall. As the business grows, we will consider creating a retail store front. Right now, all cookie orders are fulfilled to our Dallas area clients via pick up or delivery. Delivery charges are based on locality. Please inquire as to your particular location.
WHEN/HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?
We recommend that orders be placed 2 weeks in advance. We will always strive to fill an order, but the less time we have, the less chance that we can fulfill your request. Iced cookies are a multi-step process, and many decorating components cannot be rushed without consequences. We want your cookies to be perfect ~ they are custom made to order, and we need time to secure that goal!
To initiate an order, either call (214) 727-4646, or submit the order inquiry form included on this website. We have hundreds of different shapes to fit nearly any occasion, and can can create the specific pieces/style you would like for your event.
DO YOUR COOKIES CONTAIN ALLERGENS?
Our shortbread recipe contains wheat, eggs and dairy. Our icing contains pasteurized egg whites.
Cookies do not contain nuts, however, are made with equipment that also processes nuts.
DO YOU ACCEPT LARGE/CORPORATE ORDERS?
Yes! For orders over 200 cookies, we ask that you give us at least 4 weeks notice.
WHAT IS YOUR PAYMENT/CANCELLATION POLICY?
Once your order inquiry is placed with us, we will send you a price proposal via the email address provided to us on the inquiry form within 48 hours. Orders are confirmed once payment is received. For your convenience, My Oven Mitt accepts payment via PayPal. Should you need to cancel an order prior to 7 days of due date, we will issue a refund of 50% of the total amount paid. Orders cancelled less than 7 days will not be refunded.
